has been digitally re-mastered to maintain the original retro/classic scratched look and feel of the original movie that was so common at the time of its creation.
The castaways must try to re-adjust to life in civilization after they are rescued from the island.
When a small piece of the Russian satellite crashes on the island, the Professor uses it as a key component for his barometer. He soon learns that a tsunami is going to flood the island.
To survive the storm, the castaways bind their huts together creating one structure in hopes of riding out the storm. The wave strikes the island sweeps the hut out to sea. Gilligan starts a fire and nearly burns the floating hut down.
The smoke catches the attention of a naval helicopter who summoned a ship to rescue the castaways. Returning to Hawaii, they learn that things have changed over the years and have trouble fitting in.
