This locket is from the Victorian Era and is gold filled
French bulldog/ boston terrier repousse locket
Gorgeous pink paste stone eyes that are brilliant along with a diamond (clear rhinestones) paste collar
High relief gorgeous details, beautiful patina
Locket opens and closes as it should
There are 2 areas to open the locket with your nail, both must be used at the same time to open
There are 2 rings and one plastic cover for a picture
Comes with a beautiful gold filled rope chain and is not original to the piece
Hallmarked on inside "S & BL Co"
Back of locket has normal wear, it is a sateen type of finish
The chain has a thumbnail spring opening, I had to use tweezers as my nails are very short
