OMC Johnson Evinrude 4.5 6 hp 8 hp lower unit gear case assembly 20” long shaft

Here we have a lower unit for 1985 Johnson Evinrude 6 hp and 8 hp outboards, this may fit other models as well.  This lower unit is in good working condition, it turns over smoothly and shifts correctly. The gear lube was clean when we checked it- no water and no metal. The water pump impeller is brand new. This is a long shaft lower unit for 20” transoms. The driveshaft has 4 splines and measures ~21 3/8” from the top of the water pump impeller to the top of the driveshaft. The cav plate has been drilled for hydrofoil at some point and the skeg has had a hole drilled through it- there is some paint loss but no cracks or breaks on this gear case. Overall this is a good replacement lower unit that is ready to bolt on and use. See pics.
