For sale is the lower unit for a 1991 OMC Johnson Evinrude 150-175 hp outboard,
this may fit other models too.
This lower unit is in good working condition, it was removed from a motor that was only used in freshwater. It turns over smoothly and shifts correctly. The gear lube was clean when we checked it, no sign of water intrusion. The water pump impeller has a lot of memory and should be replaced. This lower unit is for a 20” transom motor, the driveshaft has 20 splines and measures ~18 5/16” from the top of the water pump housing to the top of the driveshaft. The prop shaft has 15 splines. The cav plate was drilled for hydrofoil at some point. The skeg has a skeg guard on it, but it is intact and in good condition.
