    Description

    The mug is decorated with a drawing of the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl - this church was consecrated in honor of the festival of the Protection of the Virgin and built in the Vladimirskaya Oblast of Russia. The church stands where the Nerl river flows into the Klyazma river. It is a porcelain mug with hand painted gold accents. There a few tiny spots on the saucer that appear to be under the glaze. Also some spots on the inside of the cup. Both of these appear to have happened during the manufacturing process. There are a few signs of wear. Please see photos. The blue is more of a grey/blue rather than a cobalt blue. Made in the USSR.
