    1974 Model FC435054 COMPLETE with Drive Shaft, Propeller Shaft and Shift Rod
    14-Tooth Drive Shaft Spline
    Measures 17-5/16" from Lower Unit Mating Surface to Tip of Drive Shaft
    14-Tooth Propeller Shaft Spline
    Also includes the Shift Rod (unusual design, as show in photos) in good mechanical condition
    Unique Pointed, not rounded, Bullet Design (again, see pics)
    Prop Shaft  collar is cracked, though functional
    Shifts by hand smoothly through Forward, Neutral and Reverse
    This is from a 48 year old motor, so obviously has wear from use...including cosmetic paint wear
    IMPORTANT NOTE:  As required for shipping, the Gear Oil was drained and inspected. Fluids were found to be free of metal shavings, foam, water or any other contaminants. Buyer MUST replenish the Gear Oil prior to placing this unit back into service.  As with all previously owned Lower Units, we also recommend replacing the water pump impeller before use, and with this unit we strongly suggest replacing the water pump housing as well.
