    Vintage Art Deco 1920's Graduated Chrysoprase Cabochon Paste Riviere Engraved Foiled back Necklace.
    It is adorned with 31 beautiful, rich purple Paste Stones, nested in-between, all set in Silver plated Brass Base Metal.
    Paste is hand-cut glass that has been polished with metal powder until it shimmers like a gemstone or Achieves the perfection of the gemstone. They are also a translucent glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, because they have a relatively high indices of refraction and a strong dispersion.
    The reverse of the necklace is beautifully engraved showing brilliant craftsmanship from the era.
